Anonymous asked: What are your top three Neubauten Albums? Top three albums in general?
O Anonyniblet, I am such a n00b to Neubauten that I can hardly name a favorite album yet. I’ve loaded several onto my iPod, put it on “shuffle,” and take the tunes as they come. It’s hard to place what is what yet, but so far I love everything, early or recent. But I have listened to Halber Mensch straight through a few times, and it fills me with both a strange peace and a terrifying desire to dance.
Top three albums in general—that’s a cruel cruel question to try and answer. I guess I’d go with:
- Tom Waits, Rain Dogs
- Siouxsie and the Banshees, Hyaena
- Jethro Tull, Aqualung
I mean, if I’m trying to be representative of a broad spectrum of music and all that. DIFFICULT QUESTION, it is like that time King Solomon chopped a babby in half and then wouldn’t share it with anyone, not even his bff even though they were super hungry.
