the avengers aka my sudden and immense love for bruce banner
Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner, that is.
“I put a bullet in my mouth and the other guy spit it out”: this was the one thing in the movie that really made me tear up, because like Banner, I’ve got a lot of rage, that rage has been vilified by others for its destructive/disruptive potential, and I feel very ambivalent about it. It’s also the only reason I’m still alive today. My anger makes my life difficult, but it also saves it.

So I was watching the Avengers and for some reason I noticed Steve’s gym shoes. First time I have noticed his gym shoes, and this is like my 100th time watching the movie. They look like Chuck Taylor All-Star. So I did some google-ing. Apparently, All-Stars were created in 1917. During WWII, American soldiers wore white high-top chucks when training. Chuck Taylor also served in the Air Force. Man, Joss Whedon is brilliant!
Actually, his costumer is probably the one who did all that research.
^^ there’s a shit ton of people who put a fuckload of work into a movie and just a handful who get recognized for it.

Once, when Thor was visiting the Shield headquarters, he carelessly put Mjolnir down on a stack of papers. Agent Coulson had to get the papers, so he simply picked up and moved the hammer, inadvertently proving himself worthy. Thor was stunned, but truthfully Coulson was more concerned with the fact that the papers had been wrinkled in the process.

So every time I go to Starbucks and they ask for my name I always tell them ‘Tony Stark’.
(I’m cool I know.)
Anyway today when they called out my ‘name’ and I went to collect it I noticed this guy blatantly staring at me as he ordered his drink.
I thought nothing of it and went over to get some sugar when I noticed that the guy was walking over to me, still staring right into my eyes.
So by this point I was getting quite nervous and was about to ask him if I knew him when he leaned in right next to my ear and whispered;
Peasant
I stood there, mouth open, about to ask him what the actual fuck when the barista called out ‘Latte for Loki’ and the guy walked over, picked up his drink, winked at me and walked out the door.
I swear to god I have never laughed more in a public place than I did today.
